We are pleased to announce the release date for our Spotlight Series poster resources. Each poster features one of twelve fabulous disabled scientists, showcasing their work and sharing their experience of disability. The Spotlight Series: Celebrating Disabled Scientists project aims to raise the aspirations of disabled students, and to challenge stigma across the wider student population. With funding from the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Inclusion and Diversity Fund, we are working to address the underrepresentation of disabled individuals within the sciences.
From the 6th of November, our Spotlight Series poster resources will be available to download from the Compound Interest website. Compound Interest, known for simple, easy to read graphics, have brought this project to life through skilled science communication and graphic design. We are also excited to share that one of our twelve poster resources, alongside the link to access additional poster resources, will be included within the Royal Society of Chemistry’s upcoming Teach Chemistry pack and distributed to schools directly.
